The Work Force behind the Research @ IU-CGGT

IU-CGGT is gifted with a talented pool of researchers with a quest in genomic exploration and passion towards research. Research Associates and Research Scholars are integral members of the scientific research at IU-CGGT, contributing significantly to the advancement of genomic knowledge and applications. Research Associates who hold Ph.D. in life sciences play a crucial role in conducting experiments, supervising students, taking care of the academic activities, data analysis, preparation of project proposals and contributing to research publications. They work closely with the principal investigators and senior researchers of the University, providing essential technical expertise and support to various research projects. On the other hand, research scholars are graduate students pursuing their Ph.Ds. seeking specialized training in genomics. As aspiring scientists, research scholars actively engage in independent research under the guidance of experienced mentors, carrying out experiments, generating novel findings, and presenting their work at scientific conferences. Both Research Associates and Research Scholars contribute to the dynamic research environment of IU-CGGT, fueling innovation and discoveries that have far-reaching implications for biology, medicine, and biotechnology. Their dedication and collaborative efforts drive the centre's mission to unravel the mysteries of the genome and translate genomic insights into tangible benefits for society.
